The last 2 days I have broken 5 needles in my sewing machine grrr arghhh why-maybe rushing –maybe denim fabric –maybe I don’t know…but soo frustrating but I kept at it as I wanted to finish a project..and I did
Bag front and bag back..with some appliqué hearts and a snazzy red belt….And what a funny size you may just be saying but ahuh this bag has a special purpose…This bag is to hold other bags yep you got it..like them green monsters that come shopping with me and other totes that house the groceries till they get home,
And here it is packed neatly okay stuffed with bags…
Oh and guess what?..The reason the needles were breaking is because I had not set the machine back to straight stitch after doing the blanket stitch on the appliqué, here's betting I won’t make that mistake again..This is me done for the denim challenge thanks Jenny for inspiring me to use them jeans they will haunt me no more.
Cheers Vickie

Hey vickie, looks great...love it!
I like that bag...it came out really nice...I don't know how you do it. I admire people that sew. I was using your bag today to carry my crochet to the doctor's waiting room. You are very talented.
Have a good week :-)
What a fabulous looking bag! Great idea, too. I'm going to pinch that one. It'll motivate me to finish a stitchery which has been floating around 2/3 finished for a while. I hope your footsie is still healing and you are resting it still!
Vickie, i LOVE your sweet little denim bag, what a cutie!
btw thanks so much for visiting and leaving your lovely comment :) cheers, Marian
Hi Vickie, Just love the story about the broken needles!! Only you could have a cool story like that. lol. On a serious note girl, love the bag. The red tie through the belt straps just looks so snazzy. Great idea to house the other bags in it. Hope you're getting better, but in the meantime - happy sewing! Kind regards, Anita.
Great bag for bags (LOL) Vickie!! I hate when I forget simple stuff like that! I am always forgetting to change my 1/4" foot when I want to zig zag and always break a needle! Hope you are doing okay!
hugs Karen
Love the addition of the belt!! :-)
Oh, those needles!! I did the exact same thing this week when helping a grade 12 girl in sewing class!! LOL!!
Wow you are whizzing along with your demin stuff! Well done!!
