I have been

Umm well busy yep that’s it..have I been chatting on the phone ermm nope definitely not with these horrid storms we have been having.Have I been chatting on Messenger nope I not available..must mean I’ve been chatting up a storm on Skype?   Oh and nooooo I have not been playing copious games on facebook. Nope sadly not----Oh so you think  I am still kicking up the dust and cleaning the house eh? fat chance –no way I am back at work..so what have I been doing?…..Well  what is a girl to do when it is the first week of the new year ? Well of course she that’s me  just had too go wandering in blogland I truly did, and I landed HERE can’t even remember how I got there..and next thing I knew I was madly sending an email away to join..yep I think I’m addicted to swaps..what do you think?

Anyways that did not kept me from all the above mentioned activities for long, nope but this has had me busy every night..carefully following the instructions man it’s like Rose is standing beside me saying the instructions they are written so well and I am listening true I am..aww ok I’m not fiddling around with the placement of my 2½ squares-man I would still be at border 1…I am just reaching into my box of 2½ squares-which are a mixed sort, grabbing the required amount and then sewing them together..

Oh and oops I must be more careful when tracing the pattern Rose does say several times make sure fabric is centred, ok I must slipped a bit –on one of the thin borders.

P1040086 So finally here I am ready to start stitching the first block-let the floss come alive-woohoo

Cheers Vickie

Thanks for stopping by.

My! You have been busy with that patch working. What with going to work, housework and all that stitching, I'd have to give you a great big pat on the back and a lovely gold star. Impressive girl. Good for it. Kind regards, Anita.

As always, you are inspiring me to take up needle in some fashion. V and I are going on a cruise end of the month, and have resolved to take some needlework for a change (sound like two old women?). And, I'll have you know, after your chastisement about it, I have drug out the embroidery machine and am about to give it a go...will keep you posted. C

I've not forgotten your birthday and such...no money! so that means that you win an extra special something! Don't need money for the extra...lol. It is something that is all around me all the time. Anyhoo, I really like the way you've put those 2 1/2 inchers together. Nice
