Well we have some mighty weird and wonderful creatures up her..no I’m not talking about my dear husband.
Today when I got too the top of the stairs something caught my eye, I mean like swoosh goes the head crack goes the neck what the heck is that…..one mighty screech from me brings hubby running…..so I then say wwwhhhat is that..he says..just some moths..hmmmmm..I say..just some moths well man are they on steroids or what..he says..go get your camera and a tape measure…
So like the dutiful wife I am I went and got the camera..arghh ain’t they ugly

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....have I mentioned I am moth-phobic???! No way would I be holding that tape measure. Redback spiders - bring em on! But moths? Ewwww.

I think they are Corby moths they start out as grubs under the grass/ground eat the grass roots then develope into these huge moths like all other moths are atracted to light, since my back door is glass it really freaks the kids out to see them in the dark through the glass, their eyes light up like little orange/red lights HA HA HEHE
and you never got something and killed them both..??? You let them mate to create more...
When we lived in Cooyar we had huge ugly moths like that...they were called rain moths... cocoons under the ground and hey hatched when it rained.. I hated them....
