Well I am hoping everyone is having a great easter,now don't eat too many choccies ok.
I was not going to post about my not so magnificent day but as it got worse I decided to share.
This morning I went down the shops to get a paper and get some hot cross buns for hubby for tomorrow..well that don't sound to tragic eh...
Yeah right on the way home I was waiting to turn back on to the highway when smash the car behind me runs up my rear..ok pullover to a safe place and calmly get out of car-cause dang it is only a car-the poor young girl that ran into my car jumps out all apologetic and says "sorry I was not looking"..ok swap names etc...no damn damage to her car but I will need a new bumper..aw well no-one was hurt and can still drive car.
Then later this arvo I decide to wash my car-well hey don't sound too harmful eh?
Yeah right I had washed one side of the car then next thing I was screaming out to hubby..I had trodden on a plank of wood that had 2 rusty nails sticking out of it..yeeeouch they went into my foot..well I knew instantly I need a tetanus shot..but I needed to finish washing my car(yep I'm pretty ermm fussy about having a clean car)..well soo funny hubby there tellin me to get upstairs -blood pouring outta my foot and me asking him to hold the hose so I can finishing washing the car.Well he is a wise man and knows when not too humbug me so he held the hose and I finish washing car-then I shower and we go to clinic...now I have a sore arm (from tetanus)and a bandaged foot and must keep my foot elevated all day tomorrow..
Now quirky Hubby turns round and says you did not have to try and be Jesus to feel the pain of being nailed(man I could sock him one sometimes)..
Wow now I have writen a book ....I shall be a good girl tomorrow and will only be hoppin when I have too..

Oh dear Vickie - what a day! So glad the car accident wasn't worse and you weren't hurt but heck, the nails in the foot must be painful!!
Now you do as you are told and keep your foot up!
I know, I know...I shouldn't be laughing, but you made me!!! If you didn't write so funny I could be all serious and sympathetic for you. ;-)
Eat chocolate, lots of it...I hear it's great for pain relief and infection. I'll just duck back to Confession now....
Ow Vickie, I'm so sorry for you, it's an Easter to remember.
But I just had to smile because of the way you write about it, and your DH has a nice sence of humor.
It can only be uphill from here... it has all happened to you already only good things to come...
