Oh wow that title sure sounds a tad selfish – anyways my life has been about me getting back to a happy place.
Since my major surgery 2.5 years ago and then that other quite large surgery last May my body has kinda suffered and grown some.
Now I am at the stage were I am able to exercise without inducing pain at surgery sites I am going for it.
I have joined a boot camp which has been fun and helped me with techniques-I still cannot run very far and this distresses me some.
Also have cut out pretty much all sugars..
Back on the Wii and loving it..small steps to permanent results. I know I have lost a couple of kilos, however it was the measuring today after 5 weeks that has me smiling.
Total of 16.7cm’s all over so I am doing something right.
I just need to find time to fit sewing into my regime..
Thanks for stopping by,
Cheers Vickie

That's great Vickie. Keep inspiring all of us.
Hello Vickie, lovely to see your post, hard work for you, but you will get there. I sincerely hope you are now in a happy place...Kind Regards, Ofaigh
Vickie, it's so important to look after yourself, or else nothing else can happen... time for sewing will present itself at some time or other... don't go too hard at Boot Camp!

Hello Vickie
Wonderful news on those inches gone for good. Keep up the good work.
Happy days.
Bev.
It is great to read of your progress from your kidney cancer. I am still battling fatigue with my own cancer recovery and that black cloud esp when I come into contact with some hypocritical people who hurt me "back then". Still we are alive and that is something to be grateful for. One day I might even really get back into my craft and travelling again.
