Hi all,
I have come to the end of my Bliss project and struck a blank wall…I should not of looked in my closet nope should of kept that door closed.
You see upon opening my closet this beautiful green with white flowers jumped at me ….so I tried it on as final border and then bias would be white????
Then I tried white final border with scrappy bias from left over charms (bit worried about bulk in all the joining.
EDIT- if I didn’t use the left over charms for the binding I have a runner I can use them for.
Am all over the place now, so I though uh huh go to the Blog World get some input..please
Cheers Vickie
Thanks for stopping by.

could we see a bit more.............I think either would work........the second one would be using up the scraps which may be good.........
I personally like the white and the charm square binding vickie, looks nice and fresh..but the other is nice too...and as you say you would still have the squares for a runner??? thats frugal..and would be nice..look forward to seeing what you do
cheers
yup I go white as well and charm binding, With a quilt I have that has white binding drives me crazy with cleaning it - I re binded it (and you know how much I love binding!!!)
i like the white and charm square idea, keeps the whole thing looking fresh.
use the green for a runner?
sorry not much help there.

I say go with the white then the charm strips but like everybody else said both look nice however think about that white for binding :( dont think it would stay clean long enough.
I would need to see the whole quilt before I could say. :) On that little bit, though, I'd go for the white border and charm square binding. The other option I would look at, is using the green for the binding. Definitely don't use white binding! It will eventually go grey. :)
I also like the white and the charms for binding :)

Hi Vicki,
I like the white border with the charm binding! very much!!!

I think the green border, it picks up the green in the quilt beautiful. ( but I see I'm a minority LOL)
How's your knee doing now you're back at work? Hope it's still improving.
Hard one, but I agree about white binding being a potential problem down the line...but I love the idea of the charm binding. :-)
I reckon either way it's going to be *gorgeous*!
