ECHO Echo hello

Never never never will I say yes I can make it if you would like…never ever ever,

the king blue has a batik like fabric for the backing..and gawd I washed it twice before using and still it is horrid and it does not move freely under the machine..and I am sooooooo over it…I will   state that the minutes of froggy stitch-backward stitch unpicking-time waster stitch has added to hours…so I spent a couple of hours here and there on ebay (truly time just zooms when on there) ended up getting and old singer machine yeah (have wanted one for  a long time)..shall post pics when It arrives…

Umm and nothing else to report but I truly wish I could fit the king blue into this bag..

P1040106 I was at a op shoppe /thrift store today and the lady grabbed this bag to pop my goodies in –well I busted up laughing and she said “oh dear sorry I’ll get you another”..I said no no I love that bag it is so me…she then looked at me like I was a tad loopy-but that’s ok I don’t go there often,It is 100% cotton and I feel it will get used a fair bit-but unfortunately the king blue will not fit in it..aw well back to do some more of it tomorrow evening.

Cheers Vickie

Thanks for stopping by…

I love that bag! lol Too funny!
Re batiks: I love the look of them, but they do feel so strange. I don't think I would ever try to use one as a backing. You couldn't back it with quilters muslin to quilt it, then just add the batik as an extra layer before binding, could you? Cheating, I know, but it's not going in a quilt show is it? (Hmm that comment just might stir up some hostile quilt police! lol)

* my word verification: bedscream too funny! lol

Hello Vickie,It is amazing what you find when looking for material on e-bay!!! Great find by the sounds of it. I wonder what happened to the previous owner of the bag-who would want to give away a bag like that. Have a great weekend.
