Wet wet wet

well yes that’s us wet wet wet lots a rain..sloshy underfeet..water water everywhere..and best of all some cool weather yipeeee.

Oh I forgot to mention in my last post that I am opening my gifts from #1 too #25 as that was the way they were wrapped up...

Down side of the rain my basket of advent gifts got wet waaaaaah.Which I discovered this morning when I went to find and open #13.I had to open all of them this morning-but I have done so rather quickly (so as not to ruin the surprise)and placed the tags around them and popped them in a cupboard and will get each one out on it’s appropriate day couple of items were a bit soggy but I think they will be alright…

Gifts I had opened before the mishap occurred are.. and how lucky that gift 13 was in a plastic bag

Day 10-2 pieces of fabric – I think they are called fat 1/8’s (half the size of a fat 1/4)?

Day 11-A wee the name escapes me cushion.

Day 12 –piece of fabric and some apricot trim.

Day 13 – Cinderberry stitches pattern-seeds of love.

Thanks Simone I am enjoying this..

Another swap item was received this week from Francesca who hosted the ecologic bag swap-and we were partners.

This is picture of my items Francesca sent me L too R some black, white & hot pink trim-piece of green check fabric and piece of black and white print-one of her own mini note books and my bag, which you see above neatly tied up..

P1040040 And here it is opened up..this bag is perfect for my mini gardening tools and knee pad – thank you Francesca..

OK I best go check around other areas of the house and make sure there has been no more surprises of rain inside…

Cheers Vickie

Thanks for stopping by.

Lucky you, getting all those gifts for Advent - Why was the basket outside? It's been raining here too, but I know it's not even a fraction of what you guys are getting.
I just feel bad for my strays outside...I fixed a spot for a couple of them...I live in an apartment and can't really have cathouses all around - management won't let me. I must have a house so I can help more animals ;-)

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. I'm glad you enjoyed my really hot chili! (It gets me every time I read it)

What a great idea! It's too wet to go outside so stay inside and open up stacks of little surprise parcels. Good on you. Kind regards, Anita.

Vickie - I'm just catching up on your blog and really enjoyed seeing your advent gifts. I'm very sorry about your Nan, I know you and your family will especially miss her over the holidays. Both my grandmothers are gone now - you never stop missing them.
Have a great Christmas,
