A Walk in the paddock

Well I did nuuuda house work today just wasn’t in the mood..

I did some sewing this morning and then the ferals arrived at 12.15 so there I wasted 2½ hours sitting down with them being all polite like.

Then I came up top and did some reading, I am so in love with Jude Deveraux novels at the moment.I may just have to join the library as I am running out of luck with thrift store finds of hers.

Well dang if’n I didn’t fall asleep, dear hubby realized at 5.45pm things were a tad quiet up top so he came looking for me and found me fast asleep so he gently told me it was after 5.30pm …arghhh blast several hours losted..

So I decided to wake myself up by going for a walk around the paddock and taking my camera with me…these  are a few pics I took along the way.

Now let me tell you before we go on I am no gardener and I am not into pretty flowers everywhere.

P1030299 Down near the driveway I spotted one red waxy  flower and a small pale green one in the plant in the pot.

P1030298 Ohh goody goody this stick has decided to flower and it is so aromatic..Oh yeah I know this one is called a frangipani.

P1030300 Oh look there is one of my garden chooks ..hubby even made it a next of hay to make it look pwetty.

P1030296 My goodness I have never seen this plant in flower or seed(not sure which one it is..hey I know the name of this one too Mother in Law tongue.

P1030301 Ahhh look it  is another garden chook,I think I have 4 around the beds…picked ‘em up in kmart for $4 each.

P1030297 Isn’t this pwetty it’s way over around from the pool so unless you go for a wander you don’t see it..and hey this is an orchid..hehehe I am shocking with plant names they are green or purple or variegated somethings ….

Thanks for walking with me.

Cheers Vickie

What beautiful finds you made along the way. I love your garden chooks! Frangipani rates high on my list of fave flowers, but gee, roses have to come first. ;-)

Vickie... I understand where you are coming from... I have the same amount of plant knowledge... love the garden chooks... and I have never seen a mother in law's tongue in flower either....
