Stash Project TOP Completed

Remember this post where I said I was doing the Stash  Project by Judy, and I posted pics of my fabric all cut up- then I posted  progress of my blocks coming together...then I had a nah I'm not in the mood to go near the machine or fabric day..lucky it only lasted 1 day..

I busied myself with block placement and settled on this which took me hours I might add...

Then Judy posted the Stash Project Setting ,Well today I have been connected to my machine like a bit of gum on the sole of your shoe collected from the footpath.

Errmm needless to say I have done nothing else today but sewn, and I what's more I enjoyed every minute.

And tada I have finished my TOP of the Stash Buster Project.

Had too shoo the darn cat off the back of the couch like 5 times, she thought I was playing a game and kept running across the back..

Now when Judy did her first post about this project she said if we don't like our Project we could just finish the top and send it to her and she would complete it into a quilt and donate it too an orphanage in Louisiana, a QOV or a veterans’ home .

ahh alas Judy's Stash Project has livened up something in me and I love my top and will be making it into a quilt soon as I can get some batting.

Big Thanks and lots a quilty Hugs to you Judy's generosity  for sharing this project for many to enjoy,I have enjoyed making this even with the head muddle I had a couple of posts  ago...

Cheers Vickie

Thanks for Stopping by.

Wow Vickie, it's fabulous. The blue setting and then the dark border really pulled it together. Given me inspiration to try Judy's project one of these days myself.

Cheers,
Michele

Vickie,
What a great project that you have created from your stash- I am sure it must be very satisfying to have made it completely from your collection of fabrics. I am thinking of doing the same project when I finish a couple of my current projects.
I will look forward to seeing your next projects.

Anna

Looks great Vickie. I wish I could get as much done as you have been. I'm just too lazy. Great job.

I'll agree with everyone else - it looks great. I was swamped with other quilts, so I didn't join in on this project - but I am saving the instructions becuase it sure looks like a fun project to work on.

Good on you for finishing the quilt and working entirely from stash. You'll enjoy that quilt for years to come.

I lived in Darwin after Cyclone Tracey; we used to go to the Humpty Doo pub for lunch on the weekends; great barramundi! I bet it's changed since then.
