thought I'd pop a pic of the messy meandering stitch..on my The Great Summer Mystery Quilt.
It's a long and steady process,and I am happy that I chose to use red thread..and I have only had to double handle stitch, twice (the name my hubby gave to removing crappy stitching)for about 12" square x 2,ah well ya get that eh?
So far I have used 8 full bobbins,and am about to pop in #9 but thought I'd take a pic and share instead....

Those are definitely Australian summer colours that you've used, I love them. I think a UK summer colours quilt would be largely grey, with touches of blue and yellow!! The quilting's looking good too; I've managed a bit of meandering on small quilts but still stick to straight lines on anything of any size.
Way to go - way to go love that meandering you have done
