Debbie Mumm 2008 BOM Complete

clip_image002yippety doodah yippety day, my oh my what a wonderful dayclip_image002[1],

Ok I know cut the singing out but hey I'm so happy I have completed another project for Jan, and that is my Debbie Mumm 2008 Christmas Wishes Quilt.

My quilt look's a tad different from what is on the site , I had to make this with what I could rustle up from thrift stores and remnant bins,

This quilt tested my abilities with some of the wee block pieces but I am so glad I persevered.

One big thing I learnt was..do not change sewing machines in the midst of a project..

I did not know how to quilt it, however I decided to practice free motion meandering stitch messy stitch , so 4 hours and only 2 broken needles later, yeah it is complete.

DMUMM2008

When I showed it too Hubby he said “wow that looks antique well done”-I take that as a high compliment from him LOL.

Cheers Vickie
Thanks for dropping in.

You have done a lovely job finishing the quilt. It is nice finishing off things isn't it? I noticed that you have listed all your projects to be finished on the left hand side - very brave! I look forward to seeing more of your finished work. Regards, Nessie
