New Bird on the Block

Just thought I'd share a new return visitor we have had for the past couple of weeks.....

He just walks around the paddock within in a couple of metres of the house eatin' nuts of trees-

the dogs to not go near him and when he has had his fill he then flies up and sits in the tree..

Usually we have about 8 to 10 of them  fly through the paddock making a hellava racket but for some reason this one has decided to he will stay for a tad.....

Cheers Vickie

Thanks for dropping in.

Forgot to say - I am bloghopping through Chookyblue's SSCS list to see who else is playing along.

Oh we get a bunch of the sulphur crescent cockatoos early spring eating all the nuts from the pines in the area - the noise is deafening but I love having them around. Now we have this x2 pair of pink/grey pigeons who nest next door and make a repetative coo coo all day (ummmmm).

I just saw the post about the snake and it made my stomach turn. When I was a child we lived in a tropical place and my father was always having to kill snakes and they used to really scare me.

That's a big cocky! Loved seeing your picture. They are special to see even if they make so much noise! Regards, Nessie
